Right before vacation I noticed that the filter to my above ground pool was not working correctly. I talked with Wendy and others at the store and they said to change the sand…..I did and that didn’t work. Wendy talked with Marty about it and he thought it was in the pump. I took it down there and they cleaned it out and it worked. It was all fixed and running great before vacation. I would not have had a good vacation without them, so thanks to all of you for your help.

I am a new hot tub owner and had a lot of start up issues which led to alot of water quality issues. They patiently walked me through what was needed to get me back into my hot tub. They gave me step-by-step instructions on how to maintain my water. They were so friendly and so helpful. I would recommend them to everyone, I know!

This place is a lifesaver! We had our swinm gym/endless pool delivered in February. The delivery company was very nice, but they spent about an hour with us and left. They are based out of town, so the crew could not be contacted except through the spa company 800#, which wasn’t a quick turn around. They said they would put in a request for assistance but since it was a Saturday, they may not hear from anyone until Monday. We were desperate for help. Our pool was filling, it was below freezing and our heater wasn’t starting up. With no other immediate assistance, we thought we’d call Fieldstone Pool and Spa in hopes they could as least offer some assistance. Wendy answered and helped walk us through what she thought was the problem. She was right, there was an air lock in the pipes, even though the set up crew said it was filling up correctly. So we were relived that we didn’t have the tragic situation of frozen pipes on this huge investment.
Then came the battle of getting the chemicals right. Seeing as though this is not a hot tub, but a mini pool, the chemicals aren’t exactly like a spa or a pool. We had the manufacturer rep come out and help us with the chemical routine. It was different than what the literature they gave us said. Then we went to the internet to get a better idea of how to manage this- it too was not specific to a swim gym. So…I called Wendy. She said to bring her a pool sample. We did- wow! It was like taking a Chemistry class, except she taught us in terms we could understand. She gave us a print out with lots of hand written notes that specifically showed us the chemicals for THE GALLONS of the pool, not the name or style of the pool. She works in exact Science. She never pushed the in-store products on us- she acutally guided us with how to use our specific chemicals we got from the manufacturer. I was sure of the specific type of filter we had- mineralized or not mineralized- and Wendy actually called the company we worked with for delivery! She has put at least 2-3 hours into helping us get our pool up and running with perfect, sparkling water. She even had me bring in a water sample from the exact hose/water source that we filled the pool up with so she could evaulate it so when we have to drain and refill in the future we can have a better plan for the initial chemical set up.
This is a VERY lengthy review, but 5 stars and “this place is great” didn’t seem like a good enough representation of what you get at Fieldstone Pool and Spa- specifically Wendy!

If you are a new pool owner this is the place to go. This place saved me this year and kept my pool clear and clean the whole season. I had my water tested every few weeks and took all of their advice. This store will not have you buy chemicals just to ramp up a sale but have you purchased only what you need to keep a safe and clear pool. I love shopping local and this is one place you need to check out. Depending on who you get, they will tell you how it is so don’t get offended, they want the best for you and your family. Pool chemistry can be tricky and they don’t want you or your children’s health put at risk.
